Tasse Anderberg
Tasse came to know Jesus while attending Gustavus Adolphus College. Having been raised in the Unitarian Church this was a dramatic change. Missions soon became a focus in her life. She has served in Israel for 3 years with Project Kibbutz, Guatamala for a Summer of Service with Youth with a Mission, Nepal for a year and a half with her first, late husband, working in a Leprosy Hospital, and then most recently in Israel for 2005-2006, with her daughter Emily (1990). She has the ominous distinction of being widowed twice, a battle with cancer took her first husband in 1994 and a sudden heart attack her second husband in 2002. She has worked at Hennepin Country Medical Center since 1985 in psychiatry. Her hearts desire is to impart faith and trust in the goodness of the Lord and his nearness at all times. She has been at NHLC since 1993, and part of Mothers Fellowship as a participant, core member, and speaker since then. Prayer ministry, speaking to womens groups, and being a mom are ways she seeks to bring God glory in her life.
Jean Bearden
Jean Bearden is grateful for the many who have shared parts of their lives with her. Each has given insight or understanding that has helped navigate life and apply God's Word with greater strength. It was through the North Heights congregation her Mom experienced spiritual renewal that led to the whole family coming into relationship with Christ in a deeper way. Jean writes in hope it will give back even a small portion of the blessings she has received.  She has passion to see people living in the fullness God offers, and has a special passion to see women grow in Christ-likeness, fully utilizing their gifts. She currently serves on the leadership team at North Heights, having oversight of ministries.  Jean is married to a wonderful husband, Rick and they have three kids, a son-in-law, a daughter-in-law and delight in their expanding family.
Ruth Bidinger
Ruth grew up on a farm in northern Minnesota. Her family includes four grown children and four grandchildren as well as many other unofficially adopted children and grandchildren which are the delight of her life. God has brought Ruth through many trials and sorrows, but out of these she has received His grace and love beyond measure. Divorce when her children were very young was devastating, but with great faithfulness God brought them through. In remarriage God gave her a wonderful life companion, her children received a loving father and their family added two siblings. After 24 years together her husband John went home to receive His heavenly reward. Alone again, the Lord Jesus came to Ruth with words of love to tell her that she was His joy and it was now their time to dance. Ruth has found those words to be true. Daily the Lord proves Himself to be her husband and her redeemer. God has given Ruth a heart for missions and intercession. Ruth’s daughter and her family are missionaries in India so she enjoys ministering with them in person and through prayer. In Ruth’s leisure time she enjoys reading, writing, walking, biking, cross-country skiing and spending time with her family and friends.

Mary Green
Mary Green felt God's protection and love as a child before she even knew His name. In her formative years He guarded and helped her serve her family during loved ones' crises of: suicide, drug and alcohol addictions and treatment, cancers and chronic illnesses. She has personally felt Christ's profound healing and care to overcome her struggles resulting from a childhood assault by a convicted pedophile. Mary thrives today. Following her life verse from Acts 20:28*, her heart is for redeeming the past and being intentional for the future. Mary encourages women and families in the restoration power of Christ's love, opening the avenue for abundant living and peace-filled relationships. Mary has combined her passion and professional training in human development in a variety of educational venues and through writing and speaking opportunities. She and her husband David have four young adult sons. Mary volunteers as a story teller and as a University of Minnesota Extension Master Gardener. She enjoys nature, restorative gardening, hiking, dancing and golfing.

*Acts 20:28 "Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which He bought with His own blood."

Elisa Knoepfel
Elisa Knoepfel grew up at North Heights and came to know the Lord through a Billy Graham crusade in 7th grade. College was spiritually tough, and she found herself relying on the Lord more than she ever had before. God shaped who she was in Him during all of the trials and also gave her the greatest gift ever--her husband, Justin. After working in the marketing field for a few years, Elisa excitedly became a stay-at-home mother to her children Sieara (2008) and Micah (2011). Each day brings new challenges and joy in Elisa's life as she is continuously learning to trust in the Lord while raising her children and supporting her husband.
Carolyn Quehl
Carolyn’s desire is that we as God’s people would yield to the Holy Spirit and embrace transformation into Christlikeness. She shares a passion for the Word and its principles with relevancy for today. A former entrepreneur, she responded to a call of God and sold the business to pursue full-time ministry. She now serves with Churches Alive International, and works with church leaders in the US and Eastern Europe to help them initiate a discipling movement based on small groups. A veteran of three walking marathons, she and her husband Bill still keep moving as active volunteers at North Heights and chasing young grandchildren. Sandra Snider
Sandra has been writing for WebWomenConnect since 2006 and her favorite Bible truths are stated in Philippians 2:9-11 and Acts 4:12. She's a registered nurse who has transitioned into the health insurance industry. Along the way she also earned a journalism degree and her writings have been widely published in both Christian and secular newspapers, magazines and books. Activities and accomplishments she's enjoyed over the years include marathons, riding in the Goodyear Blimp, working on an Israeli army base with Volunteers for Israel, flight training, soloing, and passing the FAA written aviation exam with a score of 92. Cooking? Not so much. She'd tell you the kitchen just happened to come with the house. Sandra and her husband have been members of North Heights since 1984 and have one grown daughter. Both John and Hannah would tell you it's tough being related to her because they often show up in her writings!
Patrice St Cyr
Patrice has a heart for hurting women. After her husband, a Christian minister, left her with three young children, she closed herself off from her faith. But ten years later difficult circumstances drew her back to the Lord and His redemptive power. Now she has a passion to share the inner healing that Jesus offers and the joy that comes from having an intimate relationship with Him. After spending 20 years as a single mom, developing a corporate career and ministering to women, God surprised her with the gift of a new marriage and the opportunity to retire from the corporate world. She is excited about spending more time with her grown children and grandchildren and discovering all of the new "work experiences" God has for her. Patrice prays that her humble offerings would help draw you into God's presence and His love. She rejoices that her daughters' prayers for her are being answered in the fulfillment of Joel 2:25: "The Lord says, 'I will give you back what you lost to the swarming locusts….' "
